Goal2Growth Foundation is a South African community development organisation founded by three individuals who share more than six decades of combined experience in youth mentorship, sport development, healthcare, leadership, and community outreach.

We didn't start in a boardroom. We started in schools, on football fields, in churches, clinics, and in the communities we still serve today. The foundation exists to formalise, scale, and sustain the work we've always believed in.

Co- Founder: Leadership, Media & Youth Development

Francois Masuabi brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience in youth leadership development, anti-drug awareness, school outreach, and community empowerment, the kind of work that happens face to face, in classrooms, community halls, and school grounds across South Africa.

Alongside that, Francois is the owner of a media and film production company built around a simple conviction: that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools for positive social change. His work in media is not separate from his community development work; it extends it, giving voice to the people and places that rarely get to tell their own stories.

That combination is something Goal2Growth Foundation draws on directly. Francois brings not only the relationships and programme experience to deliver meaningful youth development work, but the creative and media capability to document it, communicate it, and share it in ways that inspire others, attract partners, and build long-term momentum for change.

Co-Founder: Health, Wellness, Safety, Fitness & Mentorship

Kearn de Waal is a qualified physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience spanning athlete wellness, injury rehabilitation, healthcare education, and community outreach. As the owner of his own physiotherapy practice, and through his voluntary work alongside it, he has provided healthcare support to athletes, youth, and vulnerable communities across South Africa, bringing professional clinical care into spaces that rarely have access to it.

That commitment to accessible healthcare is what connects his professional life to Goal2Growth Foundation. Wellness and safe-play are areas that community sport and development organisations consistently underserve, often because they lack the clinical credibility and expertise to do it properly. Kearn changes that. His involvement gives the Foundation a genuine, professional foundation for its health and wellness programmes, not as an add-on, but as a core part of what the Foundation delivers.

More broadly, Kearn bridges the gap between sport development and holistic health, ensuring that the physical and emotional well-being of every young person the Foundation works with is never an afterthought, but central to everything it does.

Co-Founder: Sport, Skills Development, Technology, Governance & Community Development

Shane Felix has spent more than three decades working at the intersection of sport, youth development, and community empowerment. Since the mid-90s, he has been actively involved in grassroots football, church outreach, music mentorship, and leadership programmes across South African communities, building the kind of long-term relationships that only come from showing up, year after year, in the same neighbourhoods.

That grassroots foundation led Shane to Inqaku South Africa, where he serves as CEO. Inqaku is a sports software and management systems company that today supports over 30K + grassroots football clubs and a network of more than 1.4 million players nationally. Leading a company at the intersection of community sport and technology has given him a rare combination: deep trust on the ground, and the systems and scale to turn that trust into measurable impact.

Goal2Growth Foundation is Shane's vision, co-founded to create a structured, lasting vehicle for the youth development work he has always believed in, one built on sport as an entry point, but focused firmly on education, life skills, and opportunity.
